The underworld's always coming after the Gabrinis and this time it is Sal Luca. What a story. Mallory developed a story that always keeps me guessing. I just loved the drama and mystery to her stories. It's not only about the mafia family , but a family that only wants to live a normal life. Sal knows that in order to keep his precious family safe, he has to devote all of his time to his other business to figure out who's trying to take them out.I would have never thought of who the culprit turned out to be. Good writing Mallory. I just love Sal and Gemma's love for each other. Sal never thought that he was worthy of love and never dreamed he would find a woman like Gemma to love him for just the person he is.
Just when the plot gets one's nerves all shot from reading the suspenseful drama, I love how Mallory makes the reader relax with comic relief. That dang Dommi is a trip. Great job as always Mallory. I loved it.

I love me some Sal and Gemma. Another rollercoaster ride with Gabrini family. I enjoyed the entire book. I couldn't put it down. I had forgotten about Robby. I love it. Thank you for another great book. I think Lucky is too cute. Gemma and Sal have that great chemistry between them like Reno and Trina. Love them. I can't wait until the next installment of The Gabrini family or The Sinatra family.
I don't know know how Mallory keep banging out these Gabrini series but she does. I have yet to be disappointed with any of Mallory Gabrini series and this was another great one. Sal was that guy and when he needed Tommy and Reno they always came through for each other. As usual the Gabrini's always come out on top. That Damon Dommi is always full of trouble. That car seen was funny as he'll. Another great book Mallory.
This was a great story and I like how Jimmy Mack gets a chance to learn to run a business again. Sal had to let the underworld know that he was still "THE MAN" and still at the top of his game!!!! Can't wait for the next installment from any of the series!!! Mallory you are the best and how can I get on your mailing list.
I wad not disappointed. The Sinatra/Gabrini books are good reads. I have read nearly every book in the series with the exception of the Tommy Gabrini novels. When Grace and Tommy got back together I was done with the Tommy books. I was never a Grace fan, so when the author wrote her back in, that was it for me. Anyway, with that one exception I love these books. So this one did not disappoint. I like Sal, there is more to him than meets the eye and he loves his family. He's complex but is also all heart. I'm not going to spoil this for you, just purchase the book and enjoy a good read. If you are new to the sereis please do not read these books out of order or you will be lost.
Mallory, I've read ALL of the Gabrinies books. You've always written them with high octane excitement and hardcore sexy scenes. Sals love and war was no exception. Sal, finally embraced his calling. Gemme is the perfect woman for him, that siesta is smart, funny and loyal to know end. You brought it home in this book, thanks for keeping me entertained. But, I need my Tommy and Grace book, I think you've done two books about Sal and one about Reno in last 6 months. Why? What about Tommy and Grace!? I'm a fan and I need my DaperTommy fix. Mallory, your books are the ONLY books I purchase at full price on opening day. I'd welcome an ARC from you please. To your follower, if you love Mob books, then you'll love Sals Love and War. The entire family is in this book.
Sal did it once again. I like that he finally made the choice to follow his heart and stop lying. Even though it was a hard pill to swallow , he is a true man that fest up yo his wrong doings and try to correct them. His wife Gem is a true Grabrini wife. These women back their men no matter what and will go down to the wire with them, but they don't take any shorts. Once again Back Door Tommy and crazy add Reno had to step in to help. They are truly family .
I’m still waiting on Gemma to step up and put her foot down with Sal. At some point she needs to put her foot down especially when it comes to her career. I was hoping she would when he told her his decision, I can’t see her winning the election with him out there like that or holding it long for that case. I thought for sure he would change his mind and just pull a Mick seeing as they can’t function without him being in their faces. The ending wasn’t that great with how it went down. I would’ve rather seen him pull strings and wiggle his way out just to come back even harder. Tommy always pulls through but his character is getting boring, he needs to get some real trouble his way. I’m also waiting on Reno to step up out of the hotel and do something different.
